Proper permission for sendmail.cf when apache sends mail on linux -

I have a web application (Bugzilla) in Apache that needs to use sendmail.cf. When it tries to use sendmail, I get an error:

/etc/mail/sendmail.cf: Line 0: can not open: Permission denied

Web The permissions for sending mail to "Apache"

in the application group look like this:

-R-R-R1 root root 58624 2008-03-29 05:27 sendmail .cf

What to do to allow permissions for sendmail.cf to be accessed by apache but still everyone else wants to be secure enough to lock E.

You have a different for local submissions. There should be a CF file, usually submitted (such as some) to submit submit.cf - it will have a slightly different batch of settings to send mail (while sendmail will be part of receiving CF mail) Submit.cf being globally readable Because it is safe for (because in principle) all procedures on the box should be reliable for sending email.
