winapi - Windows 7 Program Compatibility Assistant appeared for my app. Why? -

I've created a native application that works without questions under Win XP and Win Vista. Under Win 7 I installed the application properly I took part in it. It works normally until I select 'Extit' from the menu. On exit, the "Program Compatibility Assistant" window appeared that was telling me that my application is incompatible with Windows 7 and some compatibility settings were implemented.

My questions are:

  1. How can I know what was my application to trigger a program compatibility assistant?
  2. Where can I look for compatibility settings applicable to my application?

Do not look particularly into your exit code After running your app, PCA runs One thing that triggers for me is not doing your app more. For example, if you change some "Hello World" app to setup.exe and run it, then it will increase, but then it will actually increase your Nothing will change on the machine the way a true setup app makes your registry, program f Il directory, etc. are all the same. So PCA says, "Hm, maybe some access was denied or whatever, it seems that it is not working, your settings can not be cured." In other words it can be harmless. Although I think that every time they are not really necessary, then you can skip the app demanding to rise above, so this is your little time to check.
