android - How to quickly integrate with multiple merchants from one app -


I am trying to write a free mobile app that will pay the merchant-agnostic payment for the customer.

Context: Most web-applications are business-centric and allow multiple payment types from the customer. But the problem with which I am trying to solve additional solutions, say, a mobile app that is capable of paying many traders possibly by using your debit, credit or paypal account. To do this work, should not rely on the counter-commercial technical partnership. It should be able to talk to any trader after writing the advance code.

There are some ideas that come to mind: integrate with Visa, MasterCard, or PayPal. However, my goal is to integrate with stores, sometimes only debit, sometimes only visa, sometimes only PayPal, while searching the wheel as quickly as possible. I am thinking that someone has solved the problem before that?

  1. Which API is the easiest to integrate against? Can you name a few?
  2. Is the well-known trader-aggregating API already very popular? Do they cover very large traders like Costco and Walmart?
  3. Is there a partnership cost (with visa) I need to be aware?
  4. Is there an API for governing them? Will any one integrate into debit, Visa, PayPal, etc. to reduce the integration point?

I need this for a free consumer Android app and I can really appreciate whatever help I get - especially if it's cost-effective.
