I am going to try to create an open project which compares the most common MP3 download providers.
For this, a user will need to enter a track / album / artist name, that means the Dedoum 5 will then drag the prices relevant to the API.
I have some questions that some of you have come before:
- Do I have a server side page that requests all data and all this one If so, how can you deal with timeouts or any other problem or page should load, then each value pulled in one after another (AJAX). What are your experiences while examining comparisons?
- The main feature is to compare prices, but how can I ensure that the products are the same? I was running time, thinking the track number but I still have a source as my primary Must have to be set in.
I am making it a wiki, please add and edit the issues that you can think of. thanks for your help. Look for future blogs!
I'll first check Amazon, they'll give you a sequence (behind the album barcode, I think That Amazon calls it EAN) If other providers use it, you can make sure that they are looking at the right items.
I will cache all the results in a database, and will finish them after the appropriate time. In this way, when you get 100 requests for Britney Spears, you do not have to hammer other sites and your application has to be slowed down.
You should also make sure that the requests you make are server-side. For example, curl allows you to drag several URLs, and provides a user defined callback. I have to send some data to the callback so that you can update your page, because the results will be returned. GETTUNES => Curl callback gives some data for each URL when the connection is open which you pars on the client side.
