Proper html markup of table tags? -

Similar to a silly question, but I'm looking for things like things in Things' tables and Thread / Tiff tags < / P>

Is this necessary even if they are empty for good markup? Or can I leave them?

Closing tags for HTML (but not XHTML) rows and cells are also optional, so that you can write a table:

  & lt; Table & gt; & Lt; TR & gt; & Lt; Th & gt; 1 & lt; By & gt; 2 & lt; Tr & gt; & Lt; Td> 3 & lt; TD & gt; 4 & lt; Tr & gt; & Lt; Td> 5 & lt; Td> 6 & lt; / Table & gt;

However it is recommended that you close the tag to get better structure in the code. If you decide to change the XHTML, it makes it very easy.
